Annual All-Girls Camps in Thunder Bay & Ottawa |  | Currently, there are very few hockey schools focused solely on female development. The Superior Edge Hockey School would like to change this by providing female hockey players with the tools they need to improve their skills and raise awareness of opportunities that are available to women through sports. We have been offering developmental camps for all ages since 2005. Our goal, is to offer the players a well organized, fun, and educational camp at a low cost.

| | | Developmental Day Camp Info:
On-ice instruction: (2h10min/day) power skating, stick handling, passing, shooting, checking, puck protection, skill stations, and team strategies
Off-ice instruction: (2.5h/day) proper warm-up/cool down, plyometrics, skating imitations & slide board, resistance training, goal setting, nutrition, chalk talk, agility, strength, speed, balance, core, stick handling, circuit training, and a motivational talk with Katie and pictures with the gold medals!
*This camp focuses on the fundamental skills of hockey and is open to all skills levels. (not recommended for Bantam or Midget AA players). Each session is geared towards individual instruction and each player is coached/pushed to their maximum skill level. The Off-ice sessions includes a majority of the National Team's off-ice training program! AGE CATEGORIES:
1999-2001: Atom (Beginners-Advanced)
1997-98: Peewee (Beginners-Advanced)
1992-96: Bantam/Midget (Beginners-Intermediate)
The EDGE Award: Given to a player who demonstates leadership, team work, a positive attitude, and work ethic both on and off the ice.
